It is finally here, I would like to apologize for the long wait. We have ran into some problems with music rights, however I just got off the phone from the distributor. With some good news, the copies will be back to my house in 5-7 days which means we start shipping in 5-7 days!! Even better news than that, for making everyone wait so long if you pre order a copy in the next 5 days you will only have to pay $15 dollars for the movie rather than the MSRP of $20. In 5 days Ill be taking down this link to buy the video for 15 and will make a new one for 20! Well folks it's been an amazing 2 years filming this video, however she is coming to an end. Its been almost a year since we released our first teaser for the video. Today I thought it would be nice to put together another little preview for how our movie is turning out. Also the news is in that we will be holding our premiere right in the heart of orlando at Taste located in college park on the night of April 20th. We will have a live band (Savi Fernandez Band) playing before and after the showing of the movie. Keep checking the blog for a flyer with all the details listed. I apologize for the absolute lack of attention to this blog. As our last post said we have been winching the days away and enjoying this warm weather Florida brings us. This past weekend we made yet another trip over to the west coast, which was amazing. Thanks Justin for the hospitality and again im sorry about the rug. Anyways the rest of the next 2 months before we premiere our video on 4/20, we will probably be taking a lot of these 3 day weekend road trips. I will try to keep her updated as much as possible in the meantime. I still have no internet on my main pc only wireless for my laptop so unfortunately no new almost stomped wednesdays for a week or 2 more, but until then check out todays Alliance Monday Cover of Russell Brightwell getting funky in bama.

Unfortuantly our rail wasn't far enough away from this human species and they destroyed her at immediate sighting. I was able to get this shot a couple of weeks back when andy and ben invited us out to do some winching. Unfortuantly valencia water control caught on to this extravaganza and shut her down... however, she will go down in wakeskating history.

Earlier this week I made a post...well more of a rant about all the winch spots in orlando being a bust or not hittable right now. The first solution we did was build a rail away from all human kind, they don't seem to like all these water monsters running around orlando. We were able to winch the incline all wednesday afternoon with no one bothering us...Great Success!

Today I awoke to windy, cloudy, and unfavorable conditions, however everyone was ready to winch. We took some cinder blocks and sandbags to a gap that is only hittable in the rain, and let me tell you it was pouring. The good thing about it raining so hard was that no one actually seemed to care that we were winching...hmmmm With this in mind we might just have to wait till it rains to winch with no hassles.

Almost Stomped Wednesdays

Sorry for the delay, but vimeo was down last night doing some updates and wouldn't allow me to upload. Anyways on to the good stuff..todays' almost stomped clip features vinny knapp attempting a switch 540 down lee and gordons mill. We got this shot on our 2 week roadtrip through the southeast while we were coming back from tennesse on our way to alabama. Usually the owner has to be at the gap and with his permission you are able to session it, however it was a weekend so the tour attraction was closed and we sneaked around the back for an uniterupted day of winching.

Today's Saturday Gif is composed of Kyle Walton frontboarding a canoe that we redneck rigged on top of some rocks. The shot was taken in no other Tallasse, Alabama while on a winch trip shooting with la sewer. All we had was a 4x4 support underneath the nose resting on a rock. Kyle was chosen as the guinea pig and he didn't hesitate throwing a clean frontboard. I didn't know if I was more happy that he landed it or the fact that the canoe worked and was still in tact for more shredding. Well I got good news and I have some bad news. Ill go ahead and start with the good news Black Betty is running 100% and ready for some action. The bad news is, its been absolutely frigid the last 2 days in Orlando. This morning I awoke to crystals on all the trees from sprinklers, not my cup of tea for winching. Some brighter news is that tomorrow is a high of 71 and the weekend will also be gracing us with 75 degree weather. Its looking like a 3 day weekend of winching weekend warrior status, on the other hand enjoy this video we made of russell and martin skating the cold days away..

This weeks almost stomped Wednesdays clip is of Nick Dauzat attempting a back 180 down lee vista gap. With all the hype around lee vista in the homeless video and and the alliance trip, we decided we would give it a try. There was nice parking around the corner at a local bank like alliance said and while nick was running the winch over in a full on sprint he hit a ditch in the grass causing the hitch exstension of the winch to jam into his knee. Yeah ouch! After attempting 3 pulls he called it quits with his knee in agony, yuri gave it a go and was able to get one pull in and throw a front 1 before the community security showed up and had a fit.

Today's Gif is composed from a trip that we went on roughly 3 months ago back in October. We did a 2 week road trip through the southeast,all over FL, GA, AL, and TN. Don't forget to pick up the movie we're just skiing to check out more of this road trip, and many more other crazy adventures. Meanwhile, enjoy this gif of russell brightwell backboarding a ledge that we have been scoping since the winch was invented, we got maybe 2 pulls in before being chased out by some angry golfers. Obviously golfers are little more dedicated to waking up early and getting to the green then we are, our goal was to get on the course before any golfers, but that didn't happen...I wonder why?

12 hours left until another year has passed our lives, it was a good one with even a better one ahead. Black betty has been in a coma for the past 2 weeks but I just ordered a new drum for my tav2. Be careful where you set those stakes, you might be damaging your winch without realizing it. So even though we missed out on these last 2 weeks of 80 degree weather, we will be back to winching in full force for these winter months. Everyone have a safe new year and live your life to the fullest. Tonight we are off to see the burnin smyrnans in new smyrna, I will update tomorrow with pictures!

Hop on the bandwagon

After watching my bookmarks start to fill with little orange squares and noticing myself constantly checking everyone elses blog, I decided its time to hop on the bandwagon and create one. There's a short cold 4 months left until our premiere is held for our video and its released. Unfortunately its really coming to an end and we'll be on crunch time trying to get everything in order for production. Thats why ive decided to create a blog, so everyone can follow along and see whats going on with 420 Films.
